LARIMER COURT SUPPORT, INC

COMMITTED TO TREATMENT
• BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN COMMUNITY AND TREATMENT COURTS•
Larimer Court Support, Inc. (LCS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that directly supports the clients in the Problem Solving Courts in Larimer County, Colorado. We are committed to treatment and encourage positive lifestyles for the current and past clients who are living in recovery.

The problem solving courts were started with the goals of improving outcomes, lowering taxpayer costs, and stopping the revolving door of the court systems for participants and their families. The problem solving courts are often a "last resort" for repeat offenders whose charges stem from a substance abuse and/or mental health struggle and who need a therapy-based intensive treatment program. The programs provide a heavily structured environment with a court team-based approach who meet weekly to discuss the best course for each participant.

There are 6 Problem Solving Courts in Larimer County.
  • Adult Drug Court
  • Juvenile Drug Court
  • DUI Recovery Court
  • Wellness Court
  • Family Court
  • Veterans Court

Problem solving courts demand rigorous accountability from their participants including:
  • Screening prior to acceptance
  • Frequent appearances in court
  • Monitoring for substance use
  • Intensive, integrated treatment plans
  • Community Service
Individualized case plans combined with frequent judicial oversight empowers clients to engage in treatment and take responsibility for their own success.

LCS serves as a vital bridge between our clients and the community.
At the request of court teams, we provide essential items and supportive services that fall outside the scope of what the courts are able to offer. Our goal is to remove barriers, promote stability, and support long-term success.

Through generous community donations and partnerships, we assist clients with:
  • Work clothing and shoes/boots
  • Bicycles for reliable transportation
  • Furniture for participants moving into housing
  • Books and clothing for clients’ children
  • Haircuts and eyeglasses
  • Passes to local recreation centers
  • Access to new hobbies/healthy social activities
  • and many other essential needs

In addition, we supply courts with incentive reward cards to recognize and encourage clients who are making meaningful progress in their programs.

Together, we help create pathways to stability, self-sufficiency, and stronger community connections.
